Hi, I’m Alison, Yoga teacher & therapist. Mum of teen boys, lover of nature & cats. My focus is helping people who live life full-to-the-brim develop a sustainable practice of breath, movement, strength & conscious rest. These practices and tools are simple & no fuss. With time, you will feel spacious, resilient & renewed.
I started practicing Yoga in 2005 whilst juggling a corporate career & young family. Life has a lot of experiences to offer but some serious ‘self-care’ is essential. I instantly connected with vinyasa flow yoga, linking breath & movement to bring emotional and mental relief. What I didn’t realise; taking this time regularly to practice, shifted my entire perspective. After 20 years of account management in Sales & Media I shifted my passion for connecting with people through Yoga & Mindfulness.
I completed my first training in 2013, continuing to study and deepen my personal practice. I have trained in Vinyasa, Yin, Pre & Post Natal, Prana Flow, Restorative, Meditation, Yoga as Therapy for Cancer & about to complete my Yoga Therapy Diploma. I have had the privilege to hold space in many Sydney studios & Corporate programs including Microsoft & CBA. In the past 5 years I have been specialising in those navigating chronic illness, in particular cancer diagnosis and recovery. It is rewarding to support the empowering change people create, committing to a regular yoga practice ritual, regardless of life circumstances.

Yoga is a system of Indian thought and the oldest record of Indian culture; systemized by the Sage Pantajali ‘The Yoga Sutras’. There are many texts, this is one of the most significant. Yoga means ‘come together’ or unite, tying the strands of the mind together OR reaching a point where we haven’t before. Directing awareness toward the current activity you are engaged in which are the methods and steps towards Yoga, where you are easeful, focused, absorbed in the flow.
In person, studio or online you can learn and experience these step by step practices and tools to integrate into daily life & live your most vibrant self.
